Residence Inn by Marriott Austin Parmer/Tech Ridge

I had a very nice stay at the Residence Inn at Tech Ridge. The facility was very clean, and the staff was welcoming from the moment I arrived. My studio suite was fairly spacious and well-equipped. It featured a handy kitchenette, a comfortable seating area for relaxing, and a very well-appropriated bathroom. While this isn't a luxury hotel, it's an excellent choice if you're looking for a place that is clean, comfortable, and gives you enough space to stretch out. One thing to note is its proximity to the highway. The hotel is located just one block from I-35 southbound, which is incredibly convenient for getting around Austin. However, if you are sensitive to traffic noise, this is something to be aware of. Overall, it was a great experience for my needs.

Hotel was clean and breakfast was great. I called ahead of time to inform them my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to make it special for us. The beds were firmer than preferred but still a great stay for a great price. Amber at the front desk was also great! She was such a joy to see every night with a welcoming personality.

For a centrally located hotel, it was an outstanding value. Amber, the manager went out of her way to help us with extra towels, blankets toiletries, etc. It made the stay feel like home. The room was clean. The pull out bed accommodated our 11 and 9 year old. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall stay was great. Friendly personnel along all services. Receptionists were really nice and explained everything. Parking lot is big. Some observations: doesn’t seem to be the most modern facility, some Rooms are outdated most requiring some maintenance. Some furniture in some rooms are really beaten up. We stayed in 2 rooms. Breakfast was really good. Location is nice! It was a fair price as well.

Best hotel during our 2 week visit(from Sweden) with our daughter living in Texas. Austin was the last stop before travelling back from Dallas to Stockholm. Amber at the front desk was a delight and could even handle the cookie monster!

The evening receptionist is an absolute angel, she's been the best part of this stay by far (Amber maybe, based on other reviews? I wish I caught her name!). The room was surprisingly spacious and I enjoyed the layout, the nice kitchen area, the huge desk. The bathroom left a little to be desired (peeling wallpaper, some stains) but I had no functionality-related problems. I feel like I heard a lot of people talking in the hallway all evening. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay at this location again.

Amber at the front desk is an absolute delight. When checking in to a hotel the staff vibe and experience means everything. She is great, the rooms are lovely, some big nice TVs (although an update to smart TVs would be nice). We appreciate you Amber and love the hotel!

The hotel was nice. Had a lot of trouble checking in. I booked with Booking.com and after arriving I was told to put down an additional 100.00 deposit at that moment after being on the road for 10 hours and it being a Holiday weekend I didn't have time to move money around to accommodate this additional deposit as when I booked it, it clearly stated that I did NOT have to put an additional deposit when I arrived at the hotel. Well long story short the desk assumed I had no money and cancelled my reservation and was ready to throw myself and my family on the streets. Very disappointed It ended up working out after I made the deposit. Just rubbed me wrong.
